A forest celebration for the whole family – August 30, 2025!
In 2024, we hosted our very first Open Day at the world’s most environmentally friendly furniture factory – a day filled with activities for both kids and adults. Now, we're doing it again!
Vestre warmly invites you to another fun-filled day in and around The Plus – right in the heart of the green pine forest. The program is continuously being updated, but here's a sneak peek of what you can already look forward to:
• Guided poetry walk with Hilde Mæhlum, featuring poems by Hans Børli and stories from his life in Eidskog
• Newton Room: Learn how to program a robot
• Face painting
• Free ice cream on the rooftop
• Norway’s tallest slide
• Build your own insect hotel inside the factory
• Behind-the-scenes tour of The Plus
• And last but not least: Princess Clown ABBY brings musical comedy for children of all ages
We’ll be adding more activities as we go – so stay tuned. There’s even more fun to come!

If you're arriving by car, parking is available both at The Plus and at the nearby racecourse. If you're coming by bike, there's bicycle parking outside the factory. Stay tuned here for updated information.
